The central location of Cambria House makes it a haven for travelling business people who are looking for something more than a look-a-like motel or hotel. With privacy and confidentiality assured it is also an ideal venue for small, focused business meetings.

We are happy to organise activities, book restaurants, hire cars or equipment and generally to help out to ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay here in Nelson and at Cambria House.

We do not serve dinner but are happy to recommend and make reservations at any of the excellent Nelson restaurants within walking or short driving distance of Cambria House. Some of these have private rooms, which are ideal for group bookings.
For those who don't feel like eating out we are happy to arrange takeaways to be delivered and served.

Corporate Group Bookings

There are times when companies book out all or most of the rooms at Cambria House. This may be for a group of corporates attending a conference or coming here for a focused two day meeting. To ensure total privacy and confidentiality if you book five or more rooms (for two or more nights) then you can request exclusive use of the house. For group bookings we offer discounted rates.

Executive Meetings

Below is a sample executive meeting that can be arranged at Cambria.

Wednesday Evening
Executive guests fly into Nelson. Prearranged transport is awaiting you at the airport.
Each guest is shown to their own private room with ensuite. Guests can mingle in the private living area before going out to dinner.
Dinner is prearranged in a private room at a central city restaurant just 5 minutes walk from Cambria.

Thursday
Breakfast at Cambria.
Meetings start. Large table to work around. Equipment hire can be arranged.
Possible for group to split into two.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea served.
Dinner: Private room at one of Nelson's award winning seafood restaurants (overlooking the sea).

Friday
Breakfast at Cambria.
Meetings continue.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea served.
Finish of meetings.
Transport to airport.
Guests fly home.
